Is it possible to learn synesthesia? As far as we know, we can learn metaphoric synesthesia. Metaphoric synesthesia, to some extent, comes from feelings, emotions and Imagination. And the more vivid all these experiences are, the more we are in, so to say, metaphoric synesthesia. And this helps us to experience more. This is what Marcel Proust describes in his novel Search of the Past and what he describes with his experience of the madeleine, a cookie put in tea and tasted—and the world of the past is coming out in the imagination.
